This past June, Voyageur Quest hosted a Duke of Edinbugh Award Adventurous Journey for the grade 9 students from TFS.
This was a Bronze Adventurous Journey that had the students canoe into Algonquin Park to learn how to paddle, portage and learn canoe trip skills. For most of these students, a canoe trip into Algonquin Park's backcountry was a new experience. Having no experience is the norm for an Adventurous Jouney. Learning new skills is part of the adventure. TFS students were fantastic at working together to move through the wilderness and accomplish their goals. Well done !
Voyageur Quest hosts both scheduled DOE adventurous Journeys as well as private tailored DOE experiences .,
